Tips for dealing with trauma survivors- 

    1. Be patient with us. As hard as this is for you it’s 500% harder for your loved one. 


    2. We will always say we are fine even when you ask. For some it’s pride, embarrassment, denial, or not understand our limitations. Simply make the gesture instead of just asking. Examples are anything from meals, time, help around the house, or small things to help with our burdens. 


    3. We have issues with emotions a lot of the time. If we don’t show it doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate it.
